About the project
A community-based youth advocacy and cascade training initiative designed to build baseline understanding of gender equality, equity, and social inclusion among secondary school students. By partnering with provincial youth authorities, master mentors, and secondary school administrators, the project delivers structured peer-to-peer capacity-building training to empower young advocates and transform passive awareness into practical community equity frameworks.
Key achievements
- Successfully executed a two-day comprehensive cascade training seminar on April 7–8, 2026, directly educating 30 students at M.S. Muang Xai, while effectively shifting their baseline understanding of gender equality from 62% pre-training up to 75% post-training.
- Successfully deployed a parallel cascade training module at M.S. Thesabane Khoueng Oudomxay on April 7–8, 2026, reaching 34 direct participants (18 male, 16 female) and successfully elevating baseline concept awareness from 40% up to 51% post-workshop.
The problem
