About the project

The Butterfly Guardians (ເຈົ້າປີກ) project is a project that solves the problem of the decline in the butterfly population through an innovation we developed called the Butterfly Guardians City (BGC), or the creation of the Capital City of Guardian Butterflies. It has a total of two components, 2B: the Butterfly Dome & the Butterfly Buddy Box (BB Box), in order to create food sources and attract butterflies within the Sathid Secondary School (ມ.ສ ສາທິດ) and the surrounding community.

Key achievements

  • Engagement through social media and A team building activity on awareness-raising and conservation activity for a youth “Butterfly Guardian” group.
  • A youth “Butterfly Guardian” group established, with members actively participating in awareness-raising and conservation activity.
  • The design and construction plan for the Butterfly Buddy House is currently in progress.
